Hi there. My name is Bear, I am a very sweet guy, but had a really hard past. No one knows what happened to me, but it was pretty tramatic. I don't trust humans much and it really takes a long time for me to get understanding what's going on. I currently live with a couple other dogs and humans - I like the dogs and my foster mom and dad are really trying to get me to love them, they use animal crackers which are my favorite. I will have my foster mom update more as I start to let her learn more about me.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).



Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
